A Place For Words: Case Studies
This section of the A Place For Words website aims to bring together a series of case studies of existing projects which have worked with writers to engage with regeneration, public realm and place-specific work. The studies give brief details about the projects, and where available external links to further information.
- Writing and Place - projects which use writing as a means of consultation, communication and exploration of people's relationship with place
- Literature and public art (permanent outcomes) - Public art projects involving writers which have permanent outcomes
- Literature and public art (temporary outcomes) - Public art projects involving writers which have temporary outcomes, aimed at animating places
The projects profiled here have been commissioned and delivered by a range of organisations and artists. If you have been involved in a project you would like to see featured here please get in touch with Sarah Butler.
UrbanWords is not offering any particular endorsement of the projects below: our intention is to create a place to showcase this type of work, to offer inspiration and ideas to other organisations and practitioners.
We have divided the case studies into three areas, to help you search for projects you are particularly interested in.
