I’ve been working with U10 in Milan and Matilde Martinetti from Palazzo Lucarini Contemporary, Trevi, Perugia, to create #Shard, a Twitter Fiction inspired by the Shard in London. Designed by Renzo Piano, the Shard is a symbol of a contradictory process of urban (and social) regeneration, treading a delicate balance between complex institutional relationships and substantial foreign private funding .

#Shard is set in the spaces in and around the Shard and explores the concept of desire through the intertwining voices of four characters. #Shard will air over a week, 20-24 May and can be followed live by subscribing to the #Shard Twitter list. It will then be published as a free Tweetbook by U10.
