Poetry Hoardings on site in South Kilburn

In January 2011 I initiated South Kilburn Speaks, a partnership between South Kilburn Neighbourhood Trust and The Poetry School, as part of the South Kilburn Public Art Programme.
The poets, Aoife Mannix, Simon Porter, and Niall O’Sullivan worked with almost 200 local residents to collect and create stories and poetry inspired by the local area. Three hoardings, designed by artist Andy Edwards, with writing by the poets and local residencts, are now up on three building sites in South Kilburn. See the South Kilburn Speaks blog for more information about the project.
